“Lazy” Personal Project

A popular boba tea chain in NYC has a dynamic wallpaper on their mobile order terminals that I thought was very, very cool. It was a fun and challenging project to imitate it. Try as I might, I could not for the life of me figure out who the motion designer was. If you’re them, hello!

THE PROCESS

This was a fun project, and was inspired by a video I saw at a checkout counter of Lazy Sundays Boba Tea. Inspiration comes from anywhere these days :) I started by recreating the rig of the spinning wheels, and then dove into texture, shading, icons, and type -

A friend Abe also helped me make a fun reel, to show of the work but also just but of course mostly because that’s what all the kids are doing these days :)
